It was not long ago that one could train as a driving instructor for a relatively low price, but lately it seems that costs are spiralling. Due to my interest in becoming a driving instructor, I decided to do some research online and tried to find the cheapest driving instructor training course that I could. It turns out, that you struggle to get anything for less than 5k. This seems a bit extreme to me, as often you will be joining the driving school and paying a hefty franchise fee to them, so it seems to me that it is in their interests to offer free driving instructor courses to students.

Hopefully this trend will not continue!
