I’m not sure about you guys, but I am absolutely desperate to get out of the job I am currently working in. I am so bored of working in a bank (which is my current job) and want to get out of the rate race. My hobby is playing video games, and I spent most of last night reading a video game tester blog which has made me want to get paid to play games all day long too.

I was reading that the pay for a professional video games tester can be up to twenty bucks per hour, which is pretty good, and about the same as what I am making in my current profession. The only difference is that it looks like it is a whole lot more fun.

The big problem that I am noticing though, is that competition is fierce. There are upwards of one hundred applicants for every vacancy, and because it is low skill, the only thing that separates you from your competition is the interview process. I suck at interviews, so I am a bit worried about this.

I really hope I can get the job, but time will tell. Either way, I don’t think I can carry on working at the bank much longer!
